The Whitmore Bus Group is a bus and coach provider in Regional Victoria. The company is Northern Victoria’s largest family owned bus operator.

The Whitmore Bus Group began in 1968 with the purchase of a single school bus run in Boort, Victoria[1].

The company expanded with the purchase of Manley’s of Serpentine in 2008. Strathfieldsaye Transit was subsequently purchased in 2013. Castlemaine Bus Lines was purchased in 2017. Maryborough Transit was acquired in 2019.

Fleet[edit]

As of August 2019, the Whitmore Bus Group fleet consisted of 35 vehicles and over 40 professionally trained staff. [2] The fleet mainly consists of Mercedes Benz buses, with a variety of King Long and Hino buses inherited through acquisitions.
