Sens Jersey History[edit]

1992-1993: The CCM logo is on the waist on both jerseys.
  • White Home: First design with black/red stripes on arms and waist and completely black forearms. Player numbers are black with red trim.
  • Black Road: First design with red stripes on arms and waist. Player numbers are red with white trim.
1993-1994:
  • White Home: No changes.
  • Black Road: Player number changed from red with white trim to white with red trim.
1994-1995: No changes.
1995-1996:
  • White Home: No changes.
  • Black Road: White stripes added on arms and waist to the existing red ones.
1996-1997: No changes.
1997-1998:
  • White Home: Main crest altered with club name removed.
  • Black Road: Main crest altered with club name removed.
  • Red Alternate: New "forward looking" crest designed. Black "swoosh". CCM logo at waist.
1998-1999: No changes.
1999-2000: Black jersey retired. Red jersey becomes the road jersey.
  • White Home: No changes.
  • Red Road: No changes.
2000-2001: New black alternate jersey introduced. Manufacturer logos move to back of neck on all jerseys.
  • White Home: CCM logo moved to back of neck.
  • Red Road: CCM logo replaced with KOHO logo on back of neck.
  • Black Alternate: KOHO logo on back of neck. New arm and waist trim includes gold/black design.
2001-2002: No jersey change. Players had 10th Anniversary stickers on their helmets.
2002-2003: No changes.
2003-2004: The NHL changes jersey regulations; white is now the road jersey and red is home.
  • Red Home: No changes.
  • White Road: No changes.
  • Black Alternate: No changes.
2004-2005: Lockout.
2005-2006: Reebok becomes sole manufacturer and now their "vector" logo appears on each jersey on the neck.
  • Red Home: No changes.
  • White Road: No changes.
  • Black Alternate: No changes.
2006-2007: No changes.
2007-2008: Completely redesigned Reebok EDGE home (red) and road (white) jerseys with a new crest. Alternate jersey dropped completely.
2008-2009: Black alternate jersey added.

  • White Road: No changes
  • Black Alternate: New "SENS" logo with main crest on shoulders.
2009-2010: No jersey change. Slight change to the striping on socks.
2010-2011: No changes.
2011-2012: Reebok "vector" logo replaced with text logo. New alternate jersey introduced.
  • Red Home: No changes.
  • White Road: No changes
  • Black Alternate: New alternate "heritage" jersey replaces old "SENS" design.
2012-2013: No changes.
2013-2014: Vintage white Heritage Classic jersey introduced for outdoor game in Vancouver, BC.

All patches on right breast unless stated otherwise.
Worn for whole season
  • 1992-1993: A league-wide "Stanley Cup 1983-1993" anniversary patch appears on both the home and away jerseys for the whole season.
  • 1995-1996: A "18 Smitty" patch appears on both jerseys.
  • 1999-2000: A red, league-wide "NHL 2000" patch is added to both jerseys (not sure if this was for the whole season, or just after the new year).
  • 2003-2004: A "Roger Neilson" patch appears on all three jerseys. There were two variations: (1) black patch used on white and red jerseys, (2) white patch for the black jerseys.
  • 2011-2012: All-Star game patch is worn on all three jersey types.
Other
  • February 1, 2003: "2003 NHL YoungStars Game" patch worn by Anton Volchenkov in Florida (white jersey).
  • October 5, 2005: "CARES: Katina Relief Fund" patch worn for one game and then auctioned by the NHL (red jersey).
  • January 6, 2007: "Garth Brooks 'Teammates For Kids' Foundation" patch worn for one game and then auctioned by the NHL (red jersey).
  • January 23, 2007: "2007 NHL YoungStars Game" patch worn by Patrick Eaves and Andrej Mezaros in Dallas (white jersey).
  • May-June, 2007: "2007 NHL Stanley Cup Finals" patch worn during the 5 games of the finals (May 28, 30, June 2, 4, 6).
  • October 4 and 5, 2008: "2008 NHL Premiere Stockholm" patch worn while opening the season against the Penguins in Sweden (white and red jersey, one game each).
  • November 12, 2011: "2011 Hockey Hall of Fame Game" patch worn against the Maple Leafs in Toronto (white jersey, worn on left breast, likely because the All-Star patch is on the right).
  • April 5, 2012: Wore the 20th Anniversary Patch instead of the All-Star game patch for the final home game of the season against the Boston Bruins.
