Imansola is the Wikipedia User Name of Mansolas Ioannis. I was born in Athens Greece in May 1948. I graduated in 1972 from the University of Athens with a degree in Physics. I have spent a number of years as a teacher of Physics in the Secondary School while doing some research studies at university level in the area of radio waves and electronics. History, Aviation and aircraft modeling have been my eternal hobbies. By 1975 I have produced a number of articles in these fields that were published on the Greek press.

I was employed in 1977 by the Hellenic Civil Aviation authority in Greece as Air Traffic Controller and I was licensed in Area Control in 1979. By 1981 I took over for 2 years the teaching of Radio Navigation in the Air Traffic School parallel to my operational duties. By 1990 I was accepted in Eurocontrol at the post of Air Traffic Instructor in its school (IANS) based in Luxembourg, training the Cadet Controllers that work in the Eurocontrol Maastricht Upper Area Control Center. As from 1997 I am teaching in the same school senior controllers on Classroom techniques and Design of Radar Simulator exercises. As of 1994 I was involved systematically with historic research in aviation and WW2. I have already contributed to some 20 historic articles that were published on Greek magazines together with profiles of aircraft created with graphics software. I am still working on another 15 articles on the same field. Most of the published work I maintain on my web site. A number of web articles mention my work as a reference. Apart from my mother tongue I work articles in the English and French languages
