Rajkumar Imo Singh is the Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Indian National Congress Party representing the constituency of Sagolband in Imphal, Manipur. He has been representing the seat for the last two terms in the Manipur Legislative Assembly in 2012 and 2017. He is a member of the All India Congress Committee and the General Secretary(Administration) of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee. He is also the President of the Manipur Cricket Association. He was included as a member of the Drafting Committee at the Plenary Session of the All India Congress Committee which was held in March 2018. Rajkumar Imo Singh, a third generation member of the Indian National Congress Party, is the eldest son of the late Rajkumar Jaichandra Singh, Manipur's first Union Minister in the erstwhile Rajiv Gandhi government between 1985-1988. He later on became the Chief Minister of Manipur between 1988-1990. His grandfather, RK Birchandra Singh was the President of the Congress Party in Manipur when the state attained statehood.
Rajkumar Imo Singh did his schooling from Mayo College, Ajmer and Delhi Public School, RK Puram. He completed his Graduation and Post Graduation in History from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. He passed LLB from the Faculty of Law in Delhi Univeristy.
Rajkumar Imo Singh was born on the 10th of October 1976 in Imphal, Manipur. He has two sisters and one younger brother. He is married to Anjubala Nongthombam, who is the daughter of N Biren Singh, the Chief Minister of Manipur. He has two sons, namely RK Vivaan Singh(8 years) and RK Riaan Singh(3 Years).
