Ryan Neil Falcone (born 1971) of Syracuse, New York is a fiction writer of the horror, supernatural and psychological thriller genre publishing in both hard copy and eZine media.[1] Born on Okinawa, Japan, Falcone grew up in Syracuse, New York. He serves as an editor for Dark Moon Books and Dark Moon Digest. His interests traditionally lay in the horror genre in movies, literature, and television. Significant influences include Alfred Hitchcock, Stephen King, Jack Ketchum, Ramsey Campbell, John Carpenter, Robert Bloch, H.P. Lovecraft, Ray Bradbury, Shirley Jackson, Robert R. McCammon, and Peter Straub. Falcone's works have been published in several horror themed markets, and also appear in several commercially distributed anthologies.[2]
Falcone's short fiction has been published in print and eZine format in such venues as: The Absent Willow Review, Macabre Cadaver, Hungur Magazine, Dark Gothic Resurrected Magazine, Black Petals, Estronomicon, Deadman's Tome, Death Head Grin, Dark Fiction Spotlight, Necrology Shorts, MicroHorror, Lightning Flashes, and Foliate Oak Literary Journal. His anthology credits include: Chivalry is Dead, Closet Monsters...and Other Horrors, Unquiet Earth, Winter Chills, Dark Secrets, Bleed...And They Will Come, and Make a Wish.[3]
Falcone first began writing fiction while pursuing doctoral studies. Falcone currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He just completed his first novel, entitled, Inner Demons.[4]

[edit]Mr. Falcone earned a bachelor of science from Cornell University, and pursued doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior/Psychology at Case Western Reserve University.
Associations
[edit]Falcone joined the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Cornell University, and through that organization, the Irving Literary Society.[6]
