About Me
[edit]My name is Jeanette Burgos and I am currently a student at Laguardia Community College. I am was born and raised in New York City. I am majoring in Radiologic Technology and am awaiting my acceptance to the program. I started Laguardia in spring 2014 after being out of school since 2002. I plan to transfer to NY City Tech in Brooklyn after graduation to receive my Bachelor's. I attended college before but didn't graduate and majored in Business Management. It didn't help me in my progress for a substantial career. After many years of having different jobs, I realized I needed a degree in something that I enjoy and can grow in. I looked into many things because I enjoy different aspects of many things and decided on Radiology mainly because of the expanding technology age that our society is in at this point. Another reason was because of my family history of cancer. Laguardia gave me a opportunity to start a meaningful career that I will love. I cannot wait until I am working in the field of my major putting my long, hard work to use.
