Overview

[edit]

Liberty Walk was founded in 1993 as a used car dealership that handled luxury cars. Liberty Walk was established in 2008[1] as a base for custom and used car sales.

In 2008, the first LB body kit (LB Performance) was developed for the Lamborghini Murciélago for a friend of Wataru Kato. The following year, the Murciélago, equipped with the "LB Performance" body kit was exhibited at the 2009 Sema Show. Later, other cars were modified and exhibited, like the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Nissan GT-R at the 2013 Sema Show and the Lamborghini Aventador at the 2014 Sema Show.

Currently there are more than 550 LB Works cars in the world, 200 of which are in Japan.[1]

Brands

[edit]
  • LB Works - The first series which includes full body kits.
  • LB Performance - The second series which stay closer to the original design of the car and do not include widebody kits.
  • LB Nation - The latest series which focuses on domestic cars. This can be seen as the "entry level" for Liberty Walk.
  • LB Silhouette-Works - The most expensive brand of Liberty Walk. Not present in North America.
  • LB Super Silhouette - This is similar to LB Silhouette-Works however it specializes in Japanese 90s sports cars. This brand is officially only written in katakana. Not present in North America.
