Jacob Osbourne


Jacob Charles Osbourne (born January 15 1996) is an English professional wrestler He is currently sighn to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Ring of Honor (ROH) where he performs under the ring name Prince Havoc. Among his other accolades, Osbourne is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, ROH World Television Champion, Progress champion, WCPW Tag Team Champion with his tag team partner who performed under the ring name of Josh Skyrin, and was also the winner of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Osbourne was the first Briton to win both the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and the Best of the Super Juniors.

Early Career

Osbourne cites the legendary thriple thteat match between AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe at TNA Unbreakable 2005 as the match that made him want to become a wrestler, he received his training at Lucha Britannias School of Lucha Libre in Bethnal Green London, Other train comes for the likes of Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly. Progress Wrestling (2015-2017)

Osbourne soon became a regular for Progress Wrestling, debuting for them at Chapter Two: The Rise of Progress with Josh Skyrin in a winning effort against the London Riots (James Davis and Rob Lynch) His performance earned him a place in the Natural Progression Series 1 tournament aimed at scouting and showcasing new wrestlers. He won the tournament by besting later tag team partner Jimmy Havoc in November and in a rematch the following April. As a reward for winning, picked Havoc to enter the following Natural Progression Series Tournament. The two met again in October 2016 in the first round of the Progress Tag Team Championship tournament with Jimmy Havoc and Eddie Dennis, winning against the team with his tag team partner Pete Dunne

In his Natural Progression Series 2 opening match his opponent Zach Gibson tried to win by holding the ropes Dunne prevented Gibson from using the ropes which in turn dfour-yeam the referee long enough for Gibson to low-blow Osbourne but it wasn't enough and Gibson tapped out to Osbourne with his signature submission Bone to Bits (an inverted dragon sleeper.)

On May 18, Osbourne and Dunne were one of the final two teams standing in a four-team elemination match to decide contenders to the Progress Tag Team Chamoionship. During the match, Osbourne being isolated for some time, reached out to his tag team partner Pete Dunne but Dunne jumped off the apron and walked out on Osbourne. Osbourne was left on his own and lost the match, after which the Progress Champion Marty Scurll came out to the ring and ordered the London Riots to tie Osboune, Scurll then beat Osboune senseless with a steel chair, Osbourne recived six chair shots to the head. Blaming it on Osbourne's popularity with the fans, before other wrestlers cane out to intervene, freeing Osbourne. Scurll and The London Riots formed an alliance known as Regression, which also featured Dunne.

On July 27, Osboune entered the eight-man, staggered elimination Thunderbastard match, the winner of whom can pick a time for a Progress Championship match. Osbourne entered the match third and was immediately low-blowed by Dunne, who had already entered the match and who disqualified himself in hopes of taking out Osbourne. Osboune recovered and eventually eliminated Jimmy Havoc last to win Thunderbastard. The following show saw Osboune team up with FSU and Noam Dar in an eight-man tag team match, Osbourne's title contendership and everyone else's progress contracts at stake, depending which individual lost. During the match Osbourne moonsaulted off the Electric Ballroom's balcony onto his opponents onto the floor. Layer he had Havoc oitside, leading Osbourne to pin Davis and the end of the London Riot's contracts with progress.

At the next event Osbourne defeated Gibson and announced he would invoke his Thunderbastard right to challenge for Scurll's championship at the following shlsot He lost the championship match in January after Scull loosened the top rope, making it difficult for Osbourne to perform high-flying moves, and use it as a weapon. During the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, Osbourne defeated El Ligero, Mark Haskins, Roderick Strong and Zach Sabre Jr, across twp days to win the first Super Strong Style 16 tournament and once again lay claim to Marty Scurll's championship. Their rematch took place on July 26 in a no disqualification match where the reinstated London Riots
