Hello, my name is Jacqui. I joined this community with a purpose to Indigenize Wikipedia with Yukon First Nations content as part of Valerie Salez's New Chapter funded project Conversations. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, located on Treaty One territory, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe peoples and the homeland of the Metis Nation. Winnipeg sits at the crossroads of the Anishinaabe, Métis, Cree, Dakota and Oji-Cree Nations. I currently work at the Yukon Arts Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon. I am grateful to live, work, play on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.
