Three unanswered corrections to Mary Spencer's article:

1) what sports did Mary play as a child leading up to her career in boxing? she played multiple sports as a kid (basketball, soccer, volleyball)

2) where does she workout/train currently? trains at Windsor amateur boxing club in Windsor Ontario

3) what things has she done outside of boxing? helps with aboriginal children preparing them for future sport

- Spencer also has an active role in Motivate Canada GEN 7 Aboriginal role model initiative where she helps younger First Nations aboriginal athletes develop important physical and mental skills to help them succeed with their future in sport [1]

- Spencer had minor endorsement deals as she signed a contract with CoverGirl makeup who donated more than $140,000 to support her in her quest for gold in London 2012 Summer Olympics [3]
