Jan Lisa Huttner is a Chicago-based film critic. In 2002, she started an initiative that is now known as WITASWAN ("Women in the Audience Supporting Women Artists Now"). In 2007, WITASWAN joined forces with the Fund for Women Artists to create "International SWAN Day," always scheduled for the last Saturday of March in honor of Women's History Month.
