Kind of bard people emerged in 1990’s who perform to entertain low income  middle class of Sri Lanka. Post colonial economy which is mostly feral paved the way to this unique entertainment. Theses entertainers are locally known as Dedum Shilpin.

Two components can be seen in the performance of Danseurparlante. Verbal babbling component and bodily gesturing component are these components. Babbling is mostly done by Cumwords. Bodily gesturing is done according to the old rural bard people. This combination gives a pleasure of an enlightenment to the low income middle class of Sri Lanka . Cumwords are none local foreign out spot words which seem like holding a diplomatic power which may also make a huge impact in islanders minds. Theses Cumwords seemed to be mystical brand new words for some Sril Lankans especially low income middle class though they create a non-rapport sexual stimuli when theses words are spoken out and heard in. This sexual pleasure can be understood easily by viewing the concept of Jacques Lucan’s Jouissance. Ownership of a foreign word complies with ownership of diplomatic power. It’s not that the ontological word gives the pleasure but possessing phenomenologically the foreign word gives the pleasure here. Owning a foreign mystical word gives a perverse pleasure. Perverse possessing of foreign items always gives a pleasure in Post colonial mindset.

Babbling Cumwords in the same time displaying old rural bard bodily gestures generate an entertainment of acquiring brand new foreign items in the grounds of Stone Age. And the same time it gives the perverse pleasure of owning a foreign item to play with. This showbiz entertainment is unique to Sri Lanka and no where in the world one can find a Danseurparlante except from Sri Lanka . This showbiz industry gradually came to be in 1990 due to unique way post colonial economical dynamics of Sri Lanka. Post colonial economy did not behaved equally in Southern Asian countries for example interested of Danseurparlante Pakistan has got comical stage dram entertainment industry.

Stand up comedians and Danseurparlante are two different entertainment categories. Stand up comedians give the entertaining pleasure by cracking a joke which simply means slip and fall from the knowledge. Danseurparlante give the entertaining pleasure by not understanding the knowledge but owning the word which creates a knowledge. For example Borromean Knot are two foreign words for Sri Lanka. These two words behave as cumword in Sri Lanka. Connotations of theses words are mystic and unclear due to still dominating post colonial mindset. But acquiring the word and using the word and play with the word gives a perverse pleasure to low income middle class stratum of Sri Lanka. Owning, acquiring, possessing the word gives the pleasure only due reason of this word is so foreign. No need to know Borromeans were thugs to be held together unless otherwise they might have rebelled out by fishermen in the three islands.

As Sri Lankan Kandian dancers, as well as visual singers of Sri Lanka Danseurparlante are performers in entertainment business of Sri Lanka. Some entertainment industries sometimes create a havoc in countries. Ultranationalism created by Danseurparlante caused a big havoc in Sri Lanka in 2019 ultimately island country threatened by rating agencies to rank as default economy.
