Dr. Jasim Mohammad[edit]

Dr. Jasim Mohammad is a versatile and accomplished writer, thinker, journalist, critic, social activist, educationist and linguist. He is also a distinguished scholar, author, and a passionate admirer of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is the chairman and founder of the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS) or NaMo Kendra, a think tank that aims to promote and popularize PM Modi’s style of governance, vision and thoughts.[1] He is also a professor of comparative literature at Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), a private university in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.[2]

Dr. Jasim Mohammad was born on 15 August 1981 at Village USIA, District Ghazipur (UP). He graduated in Political Science and obtained his Masters degree in Hindi from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He pursued P.H.D in Comparative Literature from AMU. He has dedicated his whole life to nation building and inspiring the youth to value nationalism and national development. He is a respected and renowned figure not only among Muslim intelligentsia but also among the creative section of Indian citizenry.[1]

He has authored and compiled numerous books in English, Hindi and Urdu including RSS ke Nazariyat in Urdu, message for national unity; Narendra Bhai Modi, Farsh Se Arsh Tak in Urdu, PM Shri Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat Vol. 1, Narendra Modi Calling in English, Aalmi Qaid Narendra Bhai Modi Statesman Narendra Modi in English, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan aur Aligarh Movement, Aligarh Muslim University Minority Character a comprehensive study .[3]

He has also translated and edited several books by prominent writers of Urdu literature, such as Imtiaz Ali Taj, Abul Kalam Azad, Sadat Hasan Manto, and Prem Chand. Ten of his books were released by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji himself, reflecting his admiration and support for the PM’s leadership and vision.

He has a rich and diverse media experience. He worked as the Head of Sahara Urdu Media and the Group Editor of Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (National Urdu Daily) and Aalami Sahara TV (24x7 Urdu News Channel) at SAHARA INDIA. He also served as the Media Advisor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh.[4] He is a former Bureau Chief of the Urdu daily-Jadeed Mail and a former City Correspondent of the Hindi daily Hindustan Express at Aligarh.

The titles of Jasim Mohammad’s books make his leanings amply clear: Narendra Bhai Modi “Farsh se Arsh Tak”,

Statesman Narendra Modi, Mann se Jan tak – Narendra Modi, Aalami Qaid – Narendra Bhai Modi, Narendra Modi Calling,  Mann Ki Baat’ I & II and The Message Narendra Modi.[5]

Jasim Mohammad is also a former critic of the prime minister Narendra Modi, was a faculty member of the Aligarh Muslim University.[6]

Dr. Jasim holds a pivotal role as the Secretary of the Committee on Development of Urdu Language & Jobs in the India Ministry of Education, Government of India, where he spearheads initiatives aimed at promoting linguistic diversity and educational opportunities. As the Founder Chairman of the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS) under the F Educational Trust, India, he has established a dynamic platform for scholarly inquiry into the leadership and policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.[7] He first met PM Modi in 2016, along with AMU's then vice-chancellor Lt Gen (retd) Zameeruddin Shah. He considers PM Modi as an ideology, not just an individual, and admires his unfathomable love for India and his great vision to make India a ‘vishwaguru’ (world leader).[8]

He was also awarded with the Bharatiya Shiksha Ratna Samman 2023.[9]
