Re: B.G. James[edit]

At WP:PW/SG#In wrestling it says

In wrestling" should be limited to Finishing moves, Signature moves, Nicknames, Theme music, and Managers (and/or Wrestlers managed). Any taunts, gestures, or other descriptions are better suited for the article prose. Furthermore, these items should only be listed when a reliable source is present.

The relevant part is these items should only be listed when a reliable source is present. I have personally seen people add moves to articles time and time again, and then when I've gone searching for a source, I cannot find a signle instance of that wrestler having used that move. If a move is a signature move, it is one that is used regularly, and therefore, it should be listed in match results or reviews of shows by the Wrestling Obsever, Slam! Wrestling, or the Pro Wrestling Torch (reliable sources). Therefore, if you think these moves are signature moves, you shouldn't have a problem finding a source for them. The In wrestling sections are no different than any other section in articles. They need to be verifiable. To be verifiable, they have to have reliable sources. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:34, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

It refers to all of it. Finishing moves, Signature moves, Nicknames, Theme music, and Managers (and/or Wrestlers managed) should only be listed with a reliable source, and taunts, gestures, or other descriptions should only be listed in prose with a reliable source. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Dashes vs endashes[edit]

Please see WP:DASH about the difference between dashes (-) and endashes (–). The latter are used in date or number ranges. Therefore, the edit, where you changed them to dashes, was incorrect. I have fixed this error, but wanted to let you know for future editing. Nikki311 00:51, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

OK! Thank you!! Jeangabin (talk) 12:33, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Episodes as sources[edit]

I'm generally wearing of citing an episode as a source of "signature" or "finishing" moves but I can live with it, but the sources you provide really needs to have a more specific indication of airdates than just the year it aired. "airdate=1988" is just not specific enough to be helpful or ever be checked by anyone at all, it's like saying "It's on Wikipedia" or "It's in the encylpedia" without providing more details.  MPJ-DK  (No Drama) Talk  10:00, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

OK! I'll try to find the exact date!! Jeangabin (talk) 10:09, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

OWOW[edit]

Online World of Wrestling has not been proven a reliable source, so use it sparingly and with caution. I personally don't have a problem with it when there are absolutely no other sources available for things like managers, signature moves, or match records. However, when a fact is already sourced with a reliable source, there is no need to back it up with OWOW like you did here. There is nothing wrong with doing that, but it kind of is a waste of your time, which could be better spent sourcing info that isn't already sourced. Happy editing!!! :) :) Nikki311 03:27, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

A.J. Styles[edit]

Your revision as of 23:24, 1 October 2009 included a reference tag, <ref name=AR/>, that is causing a cite error. Could you go back an fix the error? Thanks. 75.69.0.58 (talk) 02:57, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler[edit]

I appriciate that you are adding sources for the moves that are unsourced. However, the moves that you are adding yourself are not signatures. I am removing the ones that are not their signatures, and just wanted you to understand why. If you need anything or have questions, just ask. Thanks. Proposed deletion of King Parsons[edit]

The article King Parsons has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP unreferenced for almost five years. Spammy; like a resume.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 18:49, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Brimstone (wrestler)[edit]

An editor has nominated Brimstone (wrestler), an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brimstone (wrestler) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. -Fall Of Darkness (talk)

  • User BoosterBronze has added this tag for deletion to the page today, after repeated reverted edits to the article, and after a slight "rant" on the article's talk page. The article itself had been put up for deletion in 2007, and was voted as Keep- in fact, the new deletion tag links straight to the archived page, where BoosterBronze has added their own comment and vote to the already closed discussion. Not sure what to do as far as resolving, or removing the tag myself- any help would be appreciated. -Fall Of Darkness (talk) 23:59, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
