Tona Hangen, Associate Professor of 19th and 20th Century US History at Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. I have a BS in Anthropology from MIT, and a PhD in American History from Brandeis University.
I teach courses in US history since 1865, social and cultural history, historical methods, intellectual history, and history of religion in America. I am the author of Redeeming the Dial: Radio, Religion and Popular Culture in America (UNC Chapel Hill, 2002).
