I am a college student who has a learning disability and is trying to get through nursing school. My career goal is to become a hospice nurse. I want to make people as comfortable as possible through the tough journey of losing a loved one, and to make sure the patient is as comfortable as they can be. I believe that I can make a difference in people's life no matter how big or small it is. I am currently working at Comfort Keepers[1] which is a home healthcare agency.
One of my favorite quotes is, "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples." -Mother Teresa. I agree with this quote with all of my heart, I cannot change the world but I can make a difference it in the world.
