hola! i was introduced to the wiki about a year ago and LOVE it. after being pissed at the rich, white, male us dominance of the net i finally did my first edit april 19, 2006 on Jane Addams under the name Espoirpaz.

i'm currently studying in santiago, chile and have noticed the lack of latin american topics, especially latin american women.

i also don't like using american or north-american to refer to united statesians.

hopefully i'll be able to make a difference here by adding to topics i find important.
