Congratulations! Here's a medal for you in appreciation of your hardwork in creating, expanding and nominating 25+ articles for DYK. Keep up the good work, Jmabel! Need to be quick as you are nearly fifty --Victuallers (talk) 17:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
With great pleasure, and on behalf of the wiki, can I thank you for your contribution of fifty (and some more?) DYK articles. Keep up the good work (the 100 template is a really nice shade of yellow), You may not be a "mainstay" anymore, but your DYK contributions are appreciated. Cheers Victuallers (talk) 09:44, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations upon reaching the milestone of 100 DYK submissions, of articles that you created or expanded. Your self-reported level of moderate activity on WP is quite high by most people's standards. Thanks for your valuable additions which have helped expand the best online encyclopedia in the world! Hey, Joe. In doing my research on "Dixie", I came to realize that locating the article at "Dixie's Land" — one title for the song, but not by far the most common or popular title — was a mistake. I requested a move to Dixie (song), which was just granted. In going through and changing all "Dixie's Land" links to point to "Dixie (song)", I noticed that you were the one that had changed them all in the first place. So I apologize for having put you to all that trouble for my one bone-headed page move. Also, please accept:
On behalf of WikiProject Theatre, I'd like to present the Tillie Blobbs Theatre Award to you for your tireless and excellent work in the area of Yiddish Theatre. This award, named for the character created by Canadian-American actress Marie Dressler, is given to those Wikipedians who have contributed to the area of theatre. Congratulations! *Exeunt* GanymeadDialogue? 08:58, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

I've recently been trying to improve wikipedia's coverage of Seattle buildings and I've found your photos of immense help. Thanks! J Crow 21:22, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Awarded to Jmabel with a veeeeeerrrrryyy great thanks for taking the time to write a proper encyclopedia article for Andalusia. Unfortunely most of the articles on Spain, Italy and France are diabolical, even those on major provinces and regions let alone municipalities, but this article is extremely well written and contains what is most important, referenced content. Keep up the great work and may you improve many more Spanish place articles!!Dr. BlofeldWhite cat 23:19, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
For your excellent translations of articles from Spanish Wikipedia and other articles relating to the Spanish-speaking world. Calliopejen1 (talk) 14:39, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
There has been a major revision of the the Service Awards: the edit requirements for the higher levels have been greatly reduced, to make them reasonably attainable.
Because of this, your Service Award level has been changed, and you are now eligible for a higher level. I have taken the liberty of updating your award on your user page.
Actually, you advanced three levels (!) to Master Editor... which I think you were eligible for anyway under the old system, considering your high edit count, and I assume you just weren't bothering to update, but since I was here I updated you anyway. Thanks for your many contributions to the Wikipedia! Herostratus (talk) 07:21, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. I had been paying no attention, I'm sure someone else updated me the last time, too. - Jmabel | Talk 16:51, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
