Hamersley Rovers Soccer Club is an Australian football (soccer) club based in Perth, Western Australia. It was founded in 1981 when a group of interested parents negotiated with the City of Stirling local council in an effort to form a club that could be based at Carine Open Space and provide the children in the area with a chance to play football. These interested parents were ably led by Pat and Fred Zammitt and Ian Sycamore.

A Hamersley mens team was formed in 1983 for many of the fathers who's sons played in the junior teams. By 1985 a second team had been entered and by 1986 the club was in the top five teams in the 1st Division of Perth Amateur and Social Soccer Association (PASSA).

The amalgamation of PASSA and the West Australian Amateur Soccer Association in 1987 found Hamersley Rovers in the Premier League of WAASSA, which then placed us as one of the top 12 amateur teams in Western Australia. The reserve side was also formed in compliance with League rules. The club also formed a further two social teams and the older players formed a Veterans side. By 1990 the club had five senior sides. During the 1990's the club lured former Manchester City, Rochdale and Stockport player Mike Brennan to their team and were also coached by former Australian International Ray Ilot.

In 2001, Hamersley Rovers made the appointment of former player Mike Brennan, who since leaving the club as a player had gone onto be assistant coach at Perth Glory. He brought an air of professionalism to the club and under his stewardship the club became a major force in amateur soccer in Western Australia, winning the Amateur Premier League in 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2007 the club lifted the Amateur Cup and a year later reached the Semi-Finals of the semi-professional State Cup.
