Dr. Jonathan Peirce is an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Nottingham.
Note that this spelling of Peirce does not conform to the rule "i before e except after c". Most people misspell his name, 'Pierce' (which is a more common name).
Research[edit]
His research concerns the neural substrates of object recognition. Specifically his lab works on the way in which the outputs of V1 might be combined in subsequent areas, to represent more complex mid-level features.
Software Development[edit]
He is the primary author of PsychoPy software, for generating experiments in neuroscience and experimental psychology.
