Lincoln Square Synagogue[edit]

Regarding your comment that you were going to update this article with new photographs and that you were checking to see about the copyright of the images. If you're not already aware of it, Wikipedia has a specific policy about non-free (i.e. copyrighted) images, which you'll find at WP:NFCC. To summarize some aspects of it:

  • If you are the copyright owner, you can upload your images under our usual licenses, although it's best to do so at Wikimedia Commons, the image repository connected to Wikipedia. The licenses allow unlimited use of the images, but you retain the copyright.
  • If you are not the owner of the copyright, you'll need to follow the NFCC rules.
  • Copyrighted images of the outside of the building will almost certainly not be allowed, as the law in the US allows anyone to photograph buildings from public streets, which means that there should be no need to use a copyrighted photo.
  • Copyrighted images of the inside of the building will probably be allowed, but you'll have to fulfill the requirements of NFCC in explaining why they should be used.

I know it sounds complicated, and it is, more complicated than it ought to be, but I didn't want you to plunge in without knowing what you were getting into.
