Hello. I'm a student at North Carolina State University. I'm trying to get NC State's Wikipedia page to be a featured article. So, I'm studying the articles of some of the universities here that are labeled as "featured articles."

From what I gathered thus far, it seems that in order for a university to be a featured article in Wikipedia, it must have these six things:

  • History
  • Academics
  • Campus
  • Student Life
  • Athletics
  • Alumni

Right now, I'm working on the academics sections. Here are some points that need to be addressed in this section:

  • How many undergraduate students are currently enrolled?
  • How many graduate and professional students are currently enrolled?
  • What are the demographics of the undergraduate population?
  • From what regions of the country or world do students come from?
  • For the latest applying class for which data is available:
- How many applications were received?
- What percentage of the applications were accepted?
- What was the average GPA of the incoming class?
- What percentage of the incoming class graduated at or near the top of their previous class?
- What was the middle fifty percent range of their SAT and ACT scores?
  • How tough is it to get into this university? (Try to cite some credible sources within the article here.)
  • How many undergraduate schools are there? Name them.
  • How many graduate and professional schools are there? Name them.
  • Provide scholarship data.
  • Does this university practice "need-blind admission"?
  • What percentage of the students receive financial aid?
  • What is the value of the universities endowment?
  • Provide data on any special academic facilities.
