Hello there! I am a Singaporean student with multiple interests, such as public transport, languages, and computer programming. I am a native speaker of English, my mother tongue is Chinese, and I'm learning to speak Japanese and Korean independently. During my free time, I will edit and fill in missing information of Wikipedia pages on trains (mostly the Singapore MRT) in multiple languages, as well as work on Roblox train simulator games.

Interests[edit]

As of April 2024, I have paused the progress of some of my interests to focus more on my studies.

Public Transport[edit]

Rail Systems[edit]

Bus Systems[edit]

Other Related Topics[edit]

  • Wayfinding (graphic design, information systems etc.)

Languages[edit]

Computer programming[edit]

My work on Wikipedia & My WikiGoals[edit]

Public transport and train enthusiasm is a very niche topic, and we tend to focus on the system close to us. That's why some articles have inconsistent information and level of detail across languages. Having an up-to-date, reliable source of information is what I want to achieve here on WIkipedia.

Notable contributions[edit]

  • Great Train eXpress - filled in new information as of the opening day of the Seoul GTX-A.
  • Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore) - maintaining some parts of the Japanese and Korean articles, as well as adding other information on other English articles.

My work on Roblox[edit]

Being able to ride the metro of a country is one experience, but getting to live the life of a train driver or signaller is another. That's why I want to make these rare opportunities a dream come true for many on the gaming platform Roblox.

Hume Transport[edit]

I am an Assistant Development Director for Hume Transport (HT), an indie game studio that creates railway simulator games on Roblox, founded in 2022 by @singaporerules and @Areoplane15. It currently has about 2700 members in the Roblox group and 650 members in the Discord server as of March 2024.

Released games[edit]

The games listed below are games open to the public. Some games may not be fully completed yet.

  • Thomson-East Coast Line 2023 (TEL 2023), a replication of the Thomson–East Coast MRT line in Singapore. This game is no longer supported and will be replaced by an upcoming version in 2024.
  • North East Line (NEL), a replication of the North East MRT line in Singapore.
  • Cross Island Line (CRL), a replication of the future Cross Island MRT line in Singapore. This game is unofficially no longer supported and will be replaced by a future and will be replaced by a bigger and more advanced game by 2025.
  • Putrajaya Line (PYL), a replication of the Putrajaya line in Klang Valley, Malaysia.

Stridercorp[edit]

I am the founder and CEO of Stridercorp (STRC), an indie game studio that creates railway simulator games and technology for railway games on Roblox, founded in August 2020. It currently has 213 members in the Roblox group and 133 members in the Discord server as of March 2024. Due to time commitment issues, development of games had dwindled to only 2 active members in the development team, and since December 2023, has halted all activities until further notice.
