Central Market is the second full length solo album from multi-instrumentalist and experimental composer Tyondai Braxton. It was released on Warp Records. [1]

Since It's 2009 release, the album has been performed numerous times with The Wordless Music Orchestra and The London Sinfonietta in a varied selection of venues; including The Southbank Centre [2] and The Library of Congress [3].

Braxton also performs tracks from the album in his solo shows, where he usually sits cross legged on top of a specifically designed 'pod'[4]. The pod was designed and constructed by Uffe Surland Van Tams, to whom Braxton pays tribute to with the track Uffe's Woodshop[5].
