Joshua S. Freeman

Born - New York, NY, December 31, 1960

I am the Director of Interactive Services, a department of Columbia University Information Technology, the central IT organization for Columbia University. The team I lead builds websites and web applications for schools, departments, institutes, labs, student groups and individual professors. We also manage the University's google search appliances. Although trained in music (I hold a BA from The University of MIchigan and an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University) I have worked in the field of Information Technology for 20 years. I hold memberships and participate in a number of professional organizations and devote time to professional development activities in order to keep my skills current.

I live in the greater New York city area.
