1. Evaluating Wikipedia article about climate change: This articles is lacking sources in certain important area (such as causes) since Climate change is a more contested topic in our society, it would be more important to cite sources of cause. Particularly when talking about climate change feedback mechanisms such as albedo. I found that this article was generally neutral when talking about climate change. It discussed a variety of different topics related to climate change, such as human influence, and discussed some of the controversy surrounding the topic. I do have issues with the large in quotation that they inserted into the section from the United States National Research Council. I feel that they could have shared this information in a similar way that is not as awkward. Every link that I found linked back to a source that was reliable in nature. I believe that it is acceptable that Climate Change as an article is semi-protected because it is a more controversial topic. Since this is the case, many different people could try to make edits to the article that might not always be accurate. Having a topic as semi-protected helps to keep important content from being unwillingly moved and deleted. It also helps to preserve the information that is cultivated to ensure that the wording is clear for users to understand.
