Johnson Kayode Kolade Jedidiah [1](born 16 July 1978) is a Nigerian Human Resource & Organizational Development Consultant and grassroots mobilizer who has held several positions of responsibility at the Community Development, Students Association, and other socio-political groups for his doggedness and commitment to community development.

Early Life and Education [2]

Kayode was born in the Iju Ishaga area of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, Lagos State (southwestern) Nigeria where he was raised with 10 other siblings.

He attended St. Kizito's Catholic Primary School between 1984 to 1990 where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate, from where he proceeded to Fagba Grammar School where he obtained his Junior Secondary School Certificate in 1993) before proceeding to Coker Area Comprehensive High School, Ifo - Ogun State where he sat for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination in 1998.

Thereafter, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management in 2004 before proceeding to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where he obtained an MBA in Human Resource Management in 2012. Also, he obtained a Master of Employment & Labour Studies from the University of Lagos in 2014.

He is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resource, International (SPHRi), a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM), a Fellow of Nigeria Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Early career

Kayode had his National Youths Service Corps' mandatory one-year national service at the Kebbi State School of Nursing & Midwifery as a Statistics Lecturer.

After his NYSC year, he secured employment as an HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) Consultant with Safety Engineering & Fire Consultants (Nigeria) Limited in Surulere - Lagos in February 2006.

Sincere securing his first appointment as stated above, Kayode has worked in several organizations across the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy, including Not-for-Profit organizations.

Social Intervention

Kayode has been involved in programmes designed to make life much easier for the less privileged in Nigeria since his University days by participating in student-organised medical and educational outreaches to villages and communities where government presence was lacking.

He has sponsored summer school projects, Easter Parties, Christmas Celebrations, and other annual celebrations for children from extremely poor homes with the objective of putting smiles on their faces during such periods.

His Summer School Projects have been able to enrich the academic experiences of more than 500 students between ages 3 and 18 over the past 12 years. All these were done at his own expense without seeking support from any organization.

To further his ideals and objectives, he established the Friends of KayoTunde, a group of like-minds who have come together to identify gaps in their communities, develop plans and programmes to fill such gaps and mobilize resources towards effectively impacting the lives of the less privileged.

Political Thrust [3]

Kayode believes that there are limits to what can be achieved with an individual's resources but with the instrumentality of government and the right representation, the people in local communities can feel the positive impact of government through life-enhancing and enriching interventions, initiatives, and projects.
