Objective I propose to do a Wikipedia project based on deviant behavior in sports.
Interest This is interesting because this project will show the affects of deviant behavior in sports and how many pro athletes don't conform to the rules in sports.
Background reading I will read wikipedia, text book and other basic sociology texts on the following topics: social deviance, and pro sports.
I will also find scholarly research on the general issue of the deviant behavior in sports.
I will use Google to find popular press discussions about social deviance and how that deviant behavior affects pro sports.
General Plan My general plan is to find a large amount of research on social deviance and the affect it has on sports.
Collaborators I am planning on working with Kyle Sizemore on this project.
