Biography[edit]
Kelvin 'Peppers' Jalapeño is a renowned manga fan, an entertainer, a billboard designer, and a secondary school student. He is currently being taught at Mindweare Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada, and has been well known to entertain his teachers in his Art class. He is part of the artist program in Mindweare, and his classmates have known him for being very aware of the schoolwork he is assigned. However, they also credit him for having talent in painting, and he has the potential to gain a career in the art industry. He has displayed his talents in front of the entire school, and has been known to display an 'smart, sophisticated' act, to reflect on other artists' lives. For example, he thinks very highly of himself, pretended to be Dr Pepper as a reference to his name, and has gained approval from his family, friends, and teachers. He has helped other people with expressing ideas in their artwork, a deed he has been working at for nearly four years. He has earned money from his painting career, usually twenty dollars a day, but his worth in the art industry is gradually increasing.
Jalapeño is obnoxious to many people, with a dark attitude toward them, and a fascination with japanese manga. He may cause trouble by making a rude comment, and speaking over other peoples' voices, but it is usually accepted. His Art teacher, at Mindweare Secondary, has negotiated with Jay J. Jameson/Marsha Kraftmus/Darrel Caine Productions and the Metropolitan Museum of Art to have his work displayed in the main hall. His role in this negotiation is still being discussed, and he is, at the time, unaware of this ordeal.
On February 26, 2006, Mr. Jalapeño was awarded four trophies to certify his accomplishments as an artist. Afterward, he was interviewed by The Globe and Mail about his achievements, and he mentioned that he would continue to pursue his career, and become a fully-fledged painter. With the help of his Art teacher, he has become one of the most successful Art students in British Columbia, and will continue to develop his painting skills until his work makes an appearance in at least 30 museums.
Jalapeño is currently in his mid-teens, and his name is being spread around the province of British Columbia quickly. Within the next five years, he is predicted to have been contacted by over 45 museums regarding the display of his artwork.
