Hi! I'm Ken Birman and this is my "user" page, associated with my Wikipedia login (I'm systematic about logging in when I edit things). I'm a Professor at Cornell University where I do research on high assurance (e.g. secure, consistent, fault-tolerant, etc) cloud computing, and teach courses relating to object oriented Java programming, cloud computing and advanced topics in distributed computing. Here on Wikipedia, I created the Gbcast Protocol page and have done a fair amount of editing on other pages in my area of expertise. If you have questions about any of my edits, post them to my talk page and I'll be happy to respond.

If you are interested in learning more about my research and work, the Ken Birman page has details.
