The 2019 Cleveland SC season was the club's second season of existence and second consecutive season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of American soccer. The season covered the period from July 21, 2018 to the start of the 2020 NPSL season.

Review and events[edit]

Preseason[edit]

On February 15, Cleveland SC announced the first international friendly match in the club's history. The Guardians played host to Monarcas Morelia Reserves, the reserve team of Mexican club Monarcas Morelia, on May 5. The match was played at George Finnie Stadium on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University, and was part of the Neighbor Nations Showdown that also saw Morelia play matches against FC Buffalo and Kalamazoo FC.[1] Cleveland also played the second edition of the Cheese Barn Derby, facing FC Columbus on May 10 at The Wellington School in Upper Arlington, Ohio.[2]
