MAYON VOLCANO

Mayon Volcano is one of the tourist spot that stand 2426-meter-high. It is active volcano which is located in the province of Albay in Bicol, Philippines. It is renowned for it's "perfect cone" because of its conical shape whose natural beauty has inspired a number of legends and art. It also regarded as very sacred in Philippine mythology.

Now, the Mayon Volcano called "Magayon" a Bicol word that means beautiful.

There is also an old church next to the volcano called "Cagsawa Ruins". It was destroyed due to the eruption of the Mayon Volcano on February 1,1814.By cause of this incident around 1200 people died inside the church who never got out.

Even though what happened to the people of Albay was so bad. Now the Mayon Volcano still look beautiful and the people are happy. That place turned into a park and there was restaurants for the tourist and other attractions near the Mayon Volcano.
