FC Edixvelde was a Belgian association football club based in Erpe, East Flanders. The club had matricule number 7017 and the club's colours were black and yellow. In the last year of their existence, the club played in East Flanders Division Four, in the Belgian Provincial leagues. They played their home games at the Complex Ediksveldestraat in Erpe, although the club originated from nearby Nieuwerkerken.[1][2]
History
[edit]The club was founded on 16 March 1967 and joined the Royal Belgian Football Association on 1 April 1967, with matricule number 7017 being assigned to the team. FC Edixvelde played in the provincial leagues and continued to play there in the next decades. In the season 1998/99, while playing in the Fourth Provincial, FC Edixvelde decided to disband. The club was then absorbed by the nearby FC Mere.[3]
