- Not a good idea. Each article already appears in Category:Catalog lookup templates via the subcategory Category:Internet Archive templates.
Won't fix Why does Category:Internet Archive templates belong to Category:Websites templates? Give it some better categories.
- "Websites templates" is a stupid category, but it's not my problem to fix.
- Done The Discogs templates are not intricate.
- Done COBISS is not a Specific-source template.
- Done The Library of Congress templates are not attributions. Use a different U.S. government category.

Merger requests[edit]
For the following sets of templates:
- Each template is simplistic
- Each template requires the same parameter
- The templates differ only in format of the output
I think the templates in each set should be consolidated into one template; I don't see the need for multiple templates. The template that should remain is bold red. Output format should be controlled by a new parameter in the remaining template.
I will gladly perform the "grunt" work involved (for example, changing every instance of a no-longer-used template with the consolidated template). I'm only asking

- Quite frankly, I think the functionality of this template should be eliminated. The colon is unnecessary and violates Wiki's rules for creating a magic link (see Help:Magic links#PMID)
