NDL Power Limited, also referred to NDL, is the flagship company to NDL Group of companies. NDL is a multinational corporation headquartered in New Delhi, India, operating mainly the [[1]], [[2]] and automation technology areas.

NDL is working in the field reliability and power management of electrical assets such as [Transformers] around the world, with its operation in 13 Countries. The core business of the company is to undertake analytics and diagnostic of electrical equipments through electrical analysis and [[3]] analysis, such as [Oil Analysis]

NDL Group was established in the year 1982 and was incorporated as a private limited company in the year 1991 as New Delhi Laboratories Private Limited, which later became the first private laboratory in India, to be accredited by [[4]] and [[5]] in the field of petrochemical analysis of electrical equipments. Presently NDL has diverged in the field of Automation, Information Technology, Power Asset Operation and Management, Transformer manufacturing. NDL is actively undertaking in-house research&developments through NDL R&D Institute.

HISTORY

The NDL started as APIW, established in the year 1982 under the leadership of Er. Ramesh Chandra Kohli; after having served over 30 Years in the EHV Protection Division of Delhi Electric Supply Undertaking, Delhi Vidyut Board and Commissioned and Maintained various 220KV Sub stations all over Delhi, which also includes Rajghat Power House (RPH), Inderprastha Power House, and over 5 numbers of other 220 KVA Sub stations, as senior engineer for Pre-commissioning Testing, Protection System Calibration and Condition Monitoring of EHV Substations. Besides, he has served abroad for 3 Years at Libya, responsible for the operation and maintenance of 60 MW Thermal Power Station, Dharna.

Further was incorporated as a private limited company in the year 1991 as New Delhi Laboratories Private Limited, which later became the first private laboratory in India, to be accredited by [[6]] and [[7]] in the field of petrochemical analysis of electrical equipments.

OPERATIONS

Analytics' & Diagnostic Division, incorporates the Laboratory testing and analysis of electrical equipments with NABL accreditation including Transformer oil analysis, SF6 analysis, lube oil analysis and other petrochemical analysis for condition monitoring and residual life assessment of power assets such as transformers, motors, generators, turbines, breakers, GIS etc.
