Admissions[edit]

KGI accepts both online and offline applications.
For undergraduate courses (BBA, BCA, B.Com), applicants must have completed PUC II/10+2 in any discipline from a recognized board. Selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
Admission to the MBA program requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Applicants are selected based on scores in Karnataka PGCET, CAT, XAT, MAT, or KMAT, followed by group discussions and personal interviews.

Accreditation[edit]

KGI is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It was the first Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) college to offer an undergraduate course in Mechatronics in Karnataka. The institution is among the few in Karnataka to receive World Bank funding and VTU endowments for research.
