[edit]Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies is a Publication of The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI). The Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies is to promote the advancement and dissemination of the knowledge of Aeronautical science and aircraft engineering, aerospace sciences and technologies as well elevation of the aeronautical and aerospace profession.
History
[edit]Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies initially named as Journal of the Aeronautical Society of India , devoted to advancement of aeronautical sciences and engineering in India, and the first issue was released in February 1948. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Patron-in-Chief of the Society. Currently Honorary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the Patron-in-Chief of the Society.

Activities
[edit]The Quarterly Journal Published on Month of February, May, August, November and some additional special issues every year. Contribution to the Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies can be in form of Invited Paper, Full length Paper, Technical Note, Review paper, Students Paper, Product review, Book review. Keeping this view, the Journal solicits contributions from Scientists. Academicians, Technologies, Practicing Professionals and others who are directly involved in the promotion of the objectives of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies. The topic could be among the other things, Aerodynamics, Airworthiness, Avionics and systems, Structures, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Materials, Propulsion, Space and Launch Vehicle, Flight Simulation, Guided Flight, Powered Flight, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Management Studies related to Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Flight Tests, Flight Operation and Maintenance, Flight Control, Rotor Craft, Test and Evaluation Procedures, Ground Handling Process Equipment, Certification, Policy matters. The Journal follows Peer to Peer Review Mechanism for the Standard.
Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies releases Aero Inda Special issues with DRDO and ISRO Special issues with Indian Space Research Organisation.
