War

[edit]

The Shah of Persia was used to sending shamkhal gifts to Tarkovsky, but he did not do this for several years and the shamkhal attacked his possessions.

But recently, a bloody war broke out between Shefkal and the king of Persia, caused by various reasons, but mainly because the king of Persia used to send large gifts every year to prevent looting [tribute], for several years he did not do this, why did Shefkal, crossing the borders of Persia, took away large funds from there Against whom the Persian king sent a powerful army of almost 100 thousand people, which was attacked by Shefkal and Chirkassy in such a way that after heavy losses it had to retreat, and this Shefkal repeatedly successfully fought the Persians. It is also said that this Shefkal boasted that if the Persian king had not sent him the mentioned gifts, including with recognition, he would have tried to destroy the entire state of Persia from this side.[3]

Aftermath

[edit]

The Shah of Persia continued to send gifts(tribute) another source also testifies to this[4]
