BIOGRAPHY OF OKEINO NICHOLAS FENTON (KYNG) Okeino Nicholas Fenton (born January 28, 1989) bypasses norm and transcends appearances. Kyng being his stage name, is a Jamaican reggae singer/song writer/producer /audio engineer from Hopewell, Hanover. He attended the Merlene Ottey High School and the computer centre where he attained a high school diploma and Level 1 Certification in Computer Technician, respectively. Signed to Rich And Famous (R.A.F) Production, Kyng manages to incorporate a variety of reggae/rap flavors into his music.

At the age of 5, the Certified Level 1 Computer Engineer & footballer discovered his love for music where he garbed the attention of the almond Hill community, after he sang at his god mother's mother in law 100th birth party. His budding career got a boost after he participated notably in the World AIDs Day School Competition and was awarded the winner.

Fenton who enjoys making his own musical rhythms, singing to the top of the strastrophere and writing songs, continued to perform and made his first entry into the Dert Wata studio in Miami. Kyng was ordered to leave the studio after they noticed he had a different voice modulation and was said to be incompatible. Upon travelling back home Kyng conducted some research that could help him harness his distinctive style.

As a writer, producer and engineer by profession, Kyng later made his transition in the industry after he became jaded subsequent to his rhythms being rejected intermittently and being over charged for voicing. Due to financial constraints and then having second thoughts, Kyng decided to venture on his own with the 'I can sing, I can write. Why not do this on my own' attitude.
In identifying his own strengths and exploring social and personal topics, Okeino made his first release in January 2017 titled 'Better Days.' In handling much of the writing and production, Kyng managed to imbue with his other singles namely 'Fly Again, Hype No More and faker Friend', with a positive upbeat quality while remaining thought provoking. By contrast, Kyng grew close to one (1) of his three (2) managers, Tony Globe, who vouch for his songs that are designed to capture his target audience that is set to burgeon beyond societal protocols with his fresh distinct sound and beats from his in-house producer, Deizle.

With his array of musical influence from P Diddy, Kyng is currently in studio working on his new single entitled "Thanks" with the guidance of his managers Tony Globe and Lucky Godson of Godson Ent. Kyng is set to make his first appearance on international stage very soon.

The deejay of humble beginnings who live by the quote 'To see the future, you got to create it', uses his voice and lyrics to prompt social change as he entertains and inspires from his personal life flounders and austerity

Okeino's dream, big mind-set and electric spirit helped him to have his music and fresh substance as a reason to feature his work or have in your music collection. His original sound and diversity is professed that he is well on his way to carving his own lane, comprised of reggae and international influence. Okeino is completely adverse from those with a lack of substance or diversity; he is spreading his fan base from coast to coast bringing a refreshing sound to the music industry once again. With his work already making it to local airwaves of RJR 94 FM and Irie FM, and international airwaves like 99jams,wzpp 103,global warming… keep an eye out for his EP slated to be released next year with a blend of modern and traditional reggae instrumentation.
