From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, my name is Loren. I live in Asheville, North Carolina, and I research and write about topics that interest me. I'm a college student from Charlotte and former professional audio engineer.

Wikipedia contributions[edit]

I've written eight articles and made over 200 total edits to date. I'm currently working on bringing the aviation side of Wikipedia up to date.

I wrote the articles for Ágost Benárd, Alfréd Drasche-Lázár, Sedick Isaacs, Bernard Lathière, Statesville Regional Airport, José Bonilla, Gevork Alikhanyan, and Mikhail Folbaum.

I also did a lot of work on the articles for the Jorge Brito, Wesley Chapel (North Carolina), the Vaccaro brothers, Marcin Knackfus, Jorge del Prado Chávez, Jens Zimmermann, the Bonilla observation, Andrea Alessi, and Havergal Brian.

Personal life[edit]

My name is Loren Arlanden. I was born in 2005 in San Antonio, Texas, and I lived in Denton, Texas, until I was 7. I grew up in Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, and graduated from Weddington High School. I'm currently studying History and Mass Communications at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

I do a lot of research for various data collection projects. I combine that with my interest in writing about history to try and help improve Wikipedia since I enjoy it and I think it's an incredibly valuable part of the internet.

I'm nonbinary, and I go by they/them pronouns. I'm also a third-generation Canadian-American. Outside of Wikipedia, I enjoy reading and/or watching most things related to history, geography, aviation, psychology, linguistics, music, law, and vexillology. I play the drums, bass clarinet, and bass guitar, and my favorite artists are Mixed Matches, Bladee, and Yung Lean. The rest of my time is spent playing Team Fortress 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Microsoft Flight Simulator, or Counter Strike 2; or watching The Sopranos, BoJack Horseman, The Midnight Gospel, Arrested Development, or Atlanta.
