[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions.
This applies to multiple articles you've edited. Please support your additions with sources. Thank you - theWOLFchild 17:19, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- I understand that. I will try to add more references to my edits in the future. I had actually taken then "sub selling" sentence from this site and now have added a reference for it. I didn't mean to wage an edit war; I just wanted to improve that article. - L293D (talk | contributions) 17:40, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- It's cool, keep up the good work. - theWOLFchild 19:54, 6 January 2018 (UTC)

References
[edit]Hi, with your recent edit to Aircraft carrier, you added a source, but left it "bare". I filled it in for you (see here). In the future, could you please fill in your refs when you add them? It would create less work for others and be appreciated by your fellow editors. See WP:CITEWEB and Template:Cite web for more info. Thanks - theWOLFchild 17:24, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry. I'm still getting started and I am still confused with the referencing stuff. I read WP:CITEWEB and now I see better what you are talking about. I'll try to fill out my references in the future. Thank you for filling mine L293D (✉) 03:00, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

Hammond School photo
[edit]The photo you just reverted is irrelevant to the article and does not include a current representation of the school to balance the nature of the article.
- Why? The article caption states it is "The Hammond School campus in 1966" I think this is quite relevant. Old photos are good: if you look at the article about World War II, you will see that most pictures are older than yours. It helps readers to see what the campus looked like in 1966. Reverted edit
[edit]Hi L293D, I noticed that you had reverted my edit on "Clam shrimp," claiming that it was vandalism. However, all I did in that edit was specify the order in which clam shrimp were in, as this had not been mentioned at all in the lead section. I do know that the order was already specified in the taxobox, but all other similar articles mention the order in the lead section as well as in the taxobox, and I wouldn't think that mentioning something twice would be regarded as vandalism. It would be great if you could explain to me what exactly was vandalism about my edit. Thank you!--SkyGazer 512 talk / contributions / subpages 18:53, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm sorry. It wasn't vandalism, I had just reverted a bunch of vandalisms and I thought this was one more. However, I think I was right to undo your edit: you wrote that it was part of the category "Cyclestherida" while the infobox states it is part of the category "Spinicaudata". Again, I'm sorry I said it was vandalism, I wasn't, just a good fait edit. L293D (✉) 19:00, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- I also just realized that clam shrimp are part of 3 orders, so clam shrimp don't belong to any specific order. For some reason I never realized that before. I think I'll specify in the lead section that clam shrimp belong to three different orders.--SkyGazer 512 talk / contributions / subpages 19:09, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Ok. Great. I thought the reason there were three orders listed was that it had been part of orders listed on top then of those listed lower. L293D (✉) 19:38, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Glad everything got worked out! :)--SkyGazer 512 talk / contributions / subpages 19:44, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Olympic songs
[edit]Hi, I was trying to figure out how to add the source for that factoid and it took me a few minutes. It's the first source I've ever added that wasn't a copy-paste. I guess I should of done it all at the same time, but I didn't, so sorry about that. signed, Amsgearing (talk | contributions)
- OK, I see. Just remember to sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). I've done it for you here, but try to do that in the future. Best regards, L293D (✉) 17:19, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Rollback
[edit]I've temporarily granted rollback to your account for a month. You've edited the granted template, so you should know the basics of it, etc. A few days before it expires, you can either re-request at PERM or leave a message on my talk page and another administrator or myself will look at making it permanent. Also, I do hope you are a Tar Heel fan . TonyBallioni (talk) 02:52, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Madjid Karimov
[edit]Dear friend This article created by me. It must be Madjid Karimov not Majid karimov as you can see from Russian wiki. Medjid is in English language not Mejid please help to change also article name. Thank you. (Namiq Aliyev (talk) 15:43, 30 January 2018 (UTC))
- I just went to see in the Russian Wikipedia and it rather seems that his name is Majid Karimov and not Madjid Karimov. However, I do not speak Russian very well so if you speak fluent Russian, I will believe you. L293D (✉ ) 15:49, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
