Hello my name is Tyler Rodriguez. I'm an independent researcher and pirate historian. My area of expertise is female piracy, specifically Anne Bonny.

I found a burial record of hers in 2020 via online archive research, which was later the basis for an article in the South Carolina Post and Courier. I've a have been studying Bonny ever since, including attended a historian conference in Poland.

I also have other interests beyond Anne Bonny. I have done some Great Lakes maritime history, such as researching the Eastland Disaster of 1915 for a documentary. I also researched female serial killers for a thesis paper.

I'm always reading and researching more on subjects I'm passionate about and will gladly discuss them at the drop of a hat.
