My Work Log:

Currywurst article: I translated the 2.1) Berliner currywurst section and it was quite long. It took me 3 hours because I did a few drafts before I did my final draft.

Errinerungskultur article: I translated section 2. This section took me 2 and a half hours to translate because I first took my time to understand what the text was about and then I produced drafts and made changes before arriving at my final piece of work. This was difficult to translate too and therefore I did not mind taking longer to properly translate this section.

Messe Freiburg: I translated section 1: Geschichte. This took me around two hours to translate. It was a big portion of the article and therefore it took me quite long to produce my first draft. Its ok because I was happy to translate a large part of the article. At times, the word order was difficult to translate but I resolved this eventually. I then put my section up on the editing page and colour coded it appropriately, according to what we agreed on in class. Overall, I enjoyed translating my designated part of the article. After we did our group presentation on problems we encountered whilst translating this article, I went back onto our article page and made sure all the measurements had a comma and therefore the article had more consistency.
