Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Leaf shaped ant! I am Abce2 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Thanks for the cookies Leaf shaped ant (talk) 22:26, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} How can I do stuff fast? I try to revert something and some guy named "Cluebot" beats me to it Leaf shaped ant (talk) 23:01, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, cluebot is pretty quick! The best thing is to deal with the more complex stuff. The 'bot can handle the simple vandalism, but other things require us humans. Maybe look at new pages (SPECIAL:NEWPAGES), and see what needs doing - such as flagging them for {{refimprove}}, tidying them up, or - in some cases - flagging them for speedy deletion etc. (See WP:CSD). Hope this helps;  Chzz  ►  23:04, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Remember, the important part is not doing it first, but doing it right. DS (talk) 23:07, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help!! Leaf shaped ant (talk) 23:07, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Hello Ant. Apologies if this makes you feel unwelcome, but I noticed you have made on or two tags for speedy deletion that may not have been correct. This tag for example, doesn't use a valid CSD criteria. The CSD criteria is mentioned covered here, be sure to use one of those criteria when tagging an article. If you have any issues with understanding the criteria, have a read of Wikipedia:Field guide to proper speedy deletion, a helpful essay that can often help to solidify your understanding. Again, I don't want to appear rude; Wikipedia needs more people to help keep the site going, and you are well on your way to being a valuable contributor. See you around! ∗ \ / () 23:53, 11 April 2009 (UTC) My apologies I corrected the tag Leaf shaped ant (talk) 23:55, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

It really does come in handy, but it makes stubs though. I hate the color red, so I have this Java script that makes any amount of pages with any content. Buɡboy52.4 (talk) 16:58, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A friend told me, but he said not to give it out, because it can be used to create like MASS vandalism, because I could put 1,000 random names and an a abusive info, and it would create 1,000 pages with such info. Buɡboy52.4 (talk) 17:01, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Umm, what?

My apologies. I meant it as a joke. I will refrain from inappropriate comments in the future. Leaf shaped ant (talk) 21:18, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
