I am proud to say I am original Beatle fan. I can remember saving up my pocketmoney and going to the record shop and buying Beatles for Sale on the day it came out. It seems strange to think I have been a fan for 45 years. I met John once at a show called the 24 Hour Technicolour Dream, he walked in through a side door in the early hours of the morning. I walked up to him and asked "Why are you here?". He said "Just to check things out". I asked for his autograph and he said "If I give it to you everyone will be asking for one". I said "John when am I ever going to see you again?" So he scribbled a quick 'J Lennon' and was gone. My girl friend at the time grabbed it out of my hands and I never saw it again. But I had met him and that was enough.
