User:LikeLakers2/leniency

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a lot of editors, such as Fluffernutter (talk · contribs), Gfoley4 (talk · contribs) and Logan (talk · contribs), are aware, I am very lenient with things on Wikipedia. I figure I might as well list how lenient I am, using my userspace.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION! I will be expanding this as time goes by!

Reversion[edit]

Perhaps one of my better talents is how I react if and when someone reverts an edit of mine.

User space[edit]

User talk pages[edit]

  1. If I revert an edit to a user talk page that isn't in my userspace, I generally will be ok with the "owner" of that userspace to come and revert my reversion.
    • Generally, I am also ok with other users also doing that, though I may ask why they did that, ask for more information why they did that, or just revert them if I feel like there is good reason to revert them.
      • This does not mean I am allowed to revert any edit I want, but if I feel there is good reason to, (such as if the edit I reverted was vandalism (which means that I may also have a reason to revert a user-talkspace "owner"s edit to their own talk page, though I will not use Twinkle's [rollback (VAND)] in either case, as usually I will want to supply a reason, and also the fact that what I am reverting is not vandalism in itself.)) I may very well decide to revert the edit(s).
    • Generally, I will usually add a reason for the reversion in the semi-automated edit summary Twinkle will use.
