Hi. My name is Locke Uppendahl and I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Cell Biology from the Kansas University. I am currently doing research in a lab at New York University, but plan on entering medical or graduate school in the fall of 2007. I basically moved out of Kansas to have a good time before I get settled in my career.

I remember using Wikipedia back in 2003 for several inquiries. Although, at the time, I did not recognize that the site was an open source encyclopedia. Thomas Friedman, in his book "The World is Flat," is the person who supplied me the understanding and motivation for assisting in this project. Like science, the peer review system is what drives the success of the individual or group tasks. I am an "mile wide, but an inch deep"...so I will do my best to really research the subject before posting. I will not venture outside of my niche and will mainly post on molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry and physiology. I might recall some information in other scientific fields such as anatomy, chemistry ect., but will hesitate in posting or reviewing any articles in those fields.
