LogiGear Corporation is a software testing company headquartered in San Mateo, California with branches in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, Viet Nam. Founded in 1994, LogiGear provides services in software testing, test automation, load/performance testing, QA consulting, test education/training, software development, and delivery model. The corporation sponsored the first software conference in Viet Nam, the VistaCon 2010 Conference held at Ho Chi Minh City with Cem Kaner as the keynote speaker.

History

In 1994, LogiGear established their headquarters in Foster City, Silicon Valley. The company was founded by Hung Quoc Nguyen and Michael Hackett.[1] [2]

Hung Quoc Nguyen published in 1999,"Testing Computer Software" with Cem Kaner and Jack Falk on software testing and reliability.[3]

LogiGear expanded in 2005 and set up its outsourcing headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, named LogiGear Viet Nam.

In 2008, the headquarters moved from Foster City to San Mateo, California.

San Jose Business Journal ranked LogiGear in the top 70 Fast/Private Valley Companies in 2009. [4]

In 2009, Inc. 500 ranked LogiGear #66 in the San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, CA category in its annual list of the fastest growing companies in the US.[5]

On March 12, 2011, LogiGear opened its new Research and Training Center in Da Nang, Viet Nam.[6]

The first software conference held in Viet Nam was conducted in 2010 titled VistaCon 2010 sponsored by LogiGear. Cem Kaner was the keynote speaker. [7] [8]
