Lord Belborough

[edit]

As many of you will know lives near Chigley in Trumptonshire, he is a rail enthusiast and has his own line that runs from Winkstead Hall to Treddles Wharf. The journey is immortalised in the song 'Time flies by (when your the driver of a train)'(Lord Belborough's Song).

A Brilliant version of which, was recorded by Half Man Half Biscuit on their 1985 album 'Back in the DHSS', along with a Chronology of The Trumpton Riots

I remember him and his butler Brackett, with fondness from my childhood, along with the cast of Camberwick Green.

I am a bit more into football than trains, although I do enjoy a good stream railway, probably none more so than the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway who's progress from rebirth I have been avidly tracking!.

On the football front, I have a football fact site at www.the-fun-house.co.uk

Tranmere Rovers

[edit]

On the HMHB front, I am also a massive Tranmere Rovers fan, have been for more than 30 years and watch them home and away as often as my busy schedule will allow.
