December 30, 1899–January 2, 1900 NW Elevated operates token service from a partially completed Wrightwood to the Loop. Only one track is in operation. The city shuts the operation down and arrests a train crew
May 31, 1900 NW Elevated begins running from Wilson to the Loop. Trains run left-handed
June 6, 1900 Addison and Larrabee open
June 7, 1900 Grace opens
June 9, 1900 Armitage, Clark, Diversey, and Webster open
September 1900 Halsted and Sedgwick switch from express/local to local-only stations
1905 Willow opens
1906 Oak opens
March 5, 1907 Lower Wilson opens
1907 NW Elevated opens the Ravenswood branch. Transfer bridge is added to Belmont
